Not such the footballing messiah he's made out to be.
Different kettle of fish when you're not managing the team who's squad is head and shoulders above everyonelse in the league.
A Spanish Kenny Dalglish.

Just said virtually the same thing to my lad

They need a overhaul who ever is the manager, but they can't move the ball at the tempo required at the moment. All the personal faults will tell you that, and you can see the rhythm of play suffering. Was the same for Pochetino at Tottenham, took them some time to play like he wanted.
It's the same every time with you British, you don't understand building a football team takes time.

Poor Pep. Only given 150m to spend plus working with some world class players like Aguero, Silva, De Bruyne.
God help if he had to make do with the players he already had at his disposal like Klopp had to at Liverpool.

Not at all. But no surprise they are struggeling. Players you are listing, is top notch. But their defense is piss poor, and lack tempo on the ball, same as their current midfield, with the injuries. Doesn't take much to get them out of balance. Took time for Klopp to, didn't it? Didn't exactly hit the ground running. It is as expected.

Klopp didnt have a pre-season and the money Pep has to spend so not exactly like for like.
Conte has hit the ground running using pretty much the squad at his disposal. Hes made Victor Moses look like Dani Alves
Pep spent 50m on John Stones so he had the money to help sort the defence.
He also bought a keeper who is clearly no good for this league and is too stubborn / arrogant to admit his mistake.

Barcelona at the time best team in the world , no adjustments needed just put them out and let them play.
Bayern munich at the time the most on form team in the world . Easy league to win with a great squad . Very little needed .
Man city , a squad that needs rebuilding in a very tough competitive league . Failing miserably
Hes not the manager he was made out to be even with pretty much inlimited funds .

When Guardiola took over as Barcelona manager, they'd finished 3rd in La Liga under Frank Rijkaard. Ten points behind second-placed Villarreal and EIGHTEEN points behind Real Madrid. They were not in fine fettle.
When he took over at Bayern Munich, it was a different situation. They had just won the treble, which had never been done by any German team before, so it was difficult to see how it could be improved upon.
Man City have an ageing squad which needs to be completely revamped. I for one hope Guardiola succeeds just so he can shut up people that don't have a clue what they're on about.

He had Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Pique, Puyol, Valdes etc at Barca. He had the core of an amazing team fall into his lap and possibly the best player of all time in his side.
At Bayern, he won the league but they were embarrassed at times in the Champions League, and they looked all at sea at times.
He's gone to City, spent £150m and they got battered by Everton. 10 points behind Chelsea who had an awful season last year.
Pep is a good manager but he's not the messiah he's made out to be. He should be doing a hell of a lot better than he currently is with that squad. Signing a crock like Gundogan was a strange call when he needed to overhaul his midfield, and the defending as a team has been shambolic, we won't even begin to mention Bravo, who is presumably a hologram.
