Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock believes more of Cardiff City's youngsters should go out on loan to lower league club for more experience and toughens them and personally I agree
Warnock and the board of Cardiff City were not happy with what the DVP team & Academy structure have been producing and for the last seven years its virtually stood still regarding youngsters making it in to the Cardiff City first team.
Other than Declan John who could be looking for a new club this coming January,City have not produced any real note of talent for seven years
So Warnock believes its crucial for Cardiff youngsters to go out on loan for more experience - just like striker Rhys Healey is doing at Newport County.
"I just felt it needed a whole restructuring for the long term future of the club," said Warnock.
Rhys Healey has been on fire at Newport County and is being watched by City's scouts
Only today Cardiff City have announced a shake-up of their age-grade set-up after parting company with highly-rated development team manager Kevin Nicholson.
Last week City announced the departure of 10 Cardiff City DVP players for this coming January.
As to the long term future of the DVP team and Cardiff City's Academy, it will be interesting to see if money is invested and Cardiff City's plans?
One thing fans love about their team,is if local talent makes it.

What I don't get about the academy is that the youth teams are doing well especially the under 18 team but they never seem to step up
