Please tell me this isn't going to happen this year at 5 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon

You would think Liverpool vs. Newport might get a shout if S4C can pull it off.

Is it up to the club's if they want to take TV money or have a bigger crowd?

Bigger crowd, the cottage burners can fack off.

I think for S4C to get the game it has to be taking place in Wales. Even if Newport beat Plymouth you've got to think that BT Sport would take the Liverpool game and no-one is going to want to see the Jacks at Hull. That's why I think we're doomed and the chances of our game taking place at 3.00 Saturday afternoon look slim.

Last year's game against Shrewsbury was at a weird time, admittedly, (was it 5 or 6pm? I was there but can't remember), but 4pm on a Sunday never seemed a problem when we were in the Premier League, or 5pm on a Sunday for Wales games now. The football purist in me says 3pm on a Saturday, but don't mind Friday or Monday nights, or, say, 3pm on a Sunday.
