Bluebirds next in Premier League Cup

Mon 05 Dec 2016

By Blackburn Rovers.co.uk

Rovers are back in Premier League Cup action this Monday afternoon when they take on Cardiff City at the Leckwith Athletics Stadium.

Damien Johnson's development squad have a win and a defeat to sit second following their opening group matches. They started with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Burnley at Ewood Park, before narrowly losing 1-0 away at Sunderland last month.

The Bluebirds have just a point to show from their two matches, as they drew 1-1 with Sunderland before losing 3-1 away at Burnley and are currently bottom of the Group B table.

The top two teams from the group will progress through to the knockout stages of the competition.

Kick-off in Cardiff is at 2.00pm, updates will be available on the website and twitter.

Surprised that Harris is starting. Is it a case of him not playing against Ipswich Saturday or is it game time for Saturday. Hope its the latter
