Neil Warnock is showing faith/loyalty and believing in Cardiff City striker Frederic Gounongbe or is it because Warnock is so limited regarding quality strikers,Warnock is trying to get the best out of a very ordinary striker?
Warnock has already stated on numerous times, that a striker is one of his first targets in the January transfers.
Cardiff City striker Frederic Gounongbe yesterday against Brighton:
Frederic Gounongbe his support running wasn't great, but did little to repay his manager's faith, in truth. Never looked likely to score his first Cardiff City goal.
My opinion is that Fred is no where near championship standard and yet again another failure. We showed by signing strikers like Fred, that we were never going to challenge for promotion from the Championship, this has been happening for the last 3 years at Cardiff and now I believe with new manager Neil Warnock in charge those days are gone and instead of brining in a load of very very ordinary players,we will bring in less players, but quality ones.
Warnock has stated he has three new players lined up and City are hoping to move on about eight players.
Personally I would get rid of Frederic Gounongbe,Kenneth Zohore, Emyr Hughes,Jazz Richards in January, another total of money wasted.

Warnock obviously thinks he has something about him and I trust his judgement. He was OK rather than outstanding yesterday, but he was playing against the best defence in the Championship who have only conceded 11 goals all season so he isn't the only striker to have problems against them.
I don't think he's the answer to our striking problems, but he is fine as a back up for Lambert and badly needs a goal to boost his confidence.

I think Warnock is at this moment being forced to have faith in him, until January?
If you don't think he is the answer, then I am not being to harsh on him and to be back up to Lambert, who in my opinion is injury prone and passed his sell by date and we will of course get the odd goal(10 max in a season),thats pretty poor in my opinion,if he's not good enough to be first choice, been with us a while now and should of done more, don't you think?

Maybe worth giving him some more game time this month and see how he develops before making a final decision. You cannot knock him for effort

We seem to never learn and the famous CCFC Committee do it again.
But we never know Warnock might just do something with them? ? ?
