' VIEW FROM THE OPPOSITION '

Rotherham United Manager Alan Stubbs thought his team should have got something - if not everything - from the home game against Cardiff City on Saturday.

Meanwhile City Manager Paul Trollope was pleased to get a win which saw them climb from bottom spot to above the relegation places.

Speaking after their two-one victory the Bluebirds Boss said 'We'd worked hard all week and we're glad it came to fruition today.

'There was a real good spirit amongst the group today and a determination to get a result and after going behind we showed great spirit and character to bounce back and win the game.

'We spoke at half-time about if things went against us to keep doing what we do and I thought the players showed a great spirit and determination and desire.

'Rotherham caused us problems with the long throws and the corners that followed on from those long throws which put us under pressure but we dealt with that very well.

'But it's testament to the lads' spirit that we bounced back and went on to win the game.'
