4-1 now, gutted for Marshy. This is not going to increase his odds on being in the starting 11

They were down to 10 men to be fair, which must be hard against Liverpool's high press, but man is that a disappointing score for them.

I don't think Marshall is Premier League quality anymore mind, saying that.

Far from it! Marshall looked good, with good movement and balance, and almost picked up a penalty save. Not his fault Hull are shit.

The rumour persists from some that 'Marshy' wanted out but that is simply not true. He went for reasons relating to the club itself and not of his own volition. However, after some thought to what was said to him by City's top brass, he felt he had little or no choice and decided to bite the bullet :(

The truth will out in due course and no one will be too surprised at what occurred or to learn that the Fabio sale was part of the same situation (albeit that Fabio was 'happy' to go once he knew it involved a Premier League return) ;)

10 men and 2 penalties as well Annis, it's going to be tough though for Marshy up there saying that.

Yes just seen the highlights,a tough season ahead for him and Hull City.

Norms I wonder if City will ever get the other £2.5mill?
We will have to keep cheering Hull on this season

Totally agree with you mate, but unfortunately most fans will only look at the final score and a 5-1 thrashing regardless of blame will not look good on Marshys CV.

We had the best years, i don't buy into this idea that goalies go on forever, they loose those finite reactions, but we as a crowd are slow to spot and acknowledge them.

Obviously would have loved to keep him, but to keep him we had to pay beyond our means and that has caught up with us...

Simple economics

Two of those goals he was wrong footed and rooted to the spot while the ball went in. Done that too often over the last couple of seasons. We had the best out of him so far - the season in the Premier League.
