" PAUL TROLLOPE FUMING & SLAMS HIS CARDIFF CITY TEAM "

After last nights awful/dreadful/passionless/horror show against Preston North End who had lost five of their six Championship League games this season, Cardiff City manager says

Paul Trollope slammed Cardiff City's display as unacceptable and admitted the Bluebirds got everything they deserved as they took a 3-0 hammering at Preston and City are now 21st in the Championship and the only team they have beaten are rock bottom Blackburn Rovers and that was due to two own goals

Paul Trollope: "I'm always honest and I believe I'm fair in my reflection of games, we got exactly what we deserved here"

"We can talk all day about systems, but there are basics in football that are needed in terms of desire, hunger and heart"

"It was unacceptable and we have a lot of work to do,there was no desire by my players"

“We will have to regroup, show a lot of strength of character and personality. We need to show the strength of the group to bounce back.”

Preston 3 Cardiff City 0 :o

Trollope has to take some of the blame because he appears to be picking players out of form and leaving some form players on the bench!

It's Trollope's job to give the players that desire by:

1. Playing them in a comfortable formation and tactical set-up

2. Playing the most influential players from the start

3. By actually motivating and helping the players understand their roles themselves. If there is no desire in the team it's because they don't by into many of your methods.
