I bought tournament tickets weeks ago and there were hardly any ones left only the odd ones dotted around in a few sections of the ground according to the online stadium map

They had blocked out certain areas making them unavailable for tournament tickets to leave them for purchasing individually.
18000 tournament tickets were sold.

Got to be disappointed with this surely ?

Welsh football has never been at an all time high. And the papers were saying how it has changed Welsh football for ever. Crowds of over 100k lining the streets for a home coming parade and yet still tickets are available.

If Wales can't sell out we got no chance with Cardiff fans coming back anytime soon. It proves the hardcore fans of 10k will always be there the rest will come back when city start challenging again.

They made is so difficult to get tickets a lot of fans got left behind. I hate membership schemes, they are a fleecing tool. I logged onto the FAW website last month to buy three tournament tickets and didn't have the required privileges, so left it to after my holiday, unfortunately i over spent, so i'll watch it on my TV.

I bought a tournament tickets last campaign without being a member.

I wanted two tournament tickets one for me and one for my 14 year old son. Mine was ok, his was refused, so I had to leave it. It seems it's okay to spend thousands watching Wales abroad, but because I applied for my sons membership later than mine he could not have tickets. I'm sure the TV coverage will be good and you save £200 on tournament tickets :thumbup:

When u think wot rubbish Wales have been over the years it should be good to fill the stadium ,being a member wot a cheek ,didn't need membership when 5000 used to turn up if they were lucky .
Success = fleece the fans

There are about 1500 tickets available but the majority of these are £50 in the middle part of the Ninian Stand and Upper Grandstand.

There are some of the £20 tickets available but not many so get them quick, they are mainly in what is usually the Away End and a few seats dotted around but not many together, around 300-400 in total.

Got that from a mate who works at the Welsh Football Trust but you can see for yourself on E.Ticketing aswell to be fair.

I doubt they will sell many more of the £50 tickets so I reckon a crowd of around 32,000 which is more than acceptable in my opinion for a Monday Night vs Moldova :thumbup:

There have been membership schemes for the last 10 years at least.

The membership has been pointless if you don't go away.

What are the benefits if you bought a tournament ticket and have no intention of going away ?

The FAW have assessed the situation about right. Get off to a flyer tomorrow and they will have no problem with empty spaces against Austria, Serbia, Georgia or Ireland. City got this cocky when we were on the up :roll:
