Tough. Gunnars has the best CV when it comes to captaining. But he's not going to play when okeefe is back.

Morrison, next best leader. But again, always injured.

How bout Connolly? Really improved the last couple of years. And a guaranteed starter.

Whitts is too quiet. Great servant. But let him concentrate on the football.

At the reading game I said to my mate that although Morrison was the captain, Gunnarsson was the leader! Vocal on the pitch and tried to keep everything in order! Not the best with technical ability but he'd make a great captain!

Lambert for me. hes allready captained Liverpool in a game to

Gunnarson! You can hear him from the stands!

Gunnarsson my first choice if not Peltier

Morrison for me. I still don't see Gunnar being an automatic pick this season

Lambert would be the correct call,but Trollope who was content with keeping Marshall as captain will stick with Morrison I'm afraid

I was all for Morrison before we signed Lambert,I suppose if he says cross the ball into the box you do it!!!

Huge Whitts fan, but his record as captain is shocking......

Whitts should be club captain, I know that is a bit Italian but he is an intelligent bloke and represents the club well in interviews.

I think this was debated a couple of weeks ago on here. I said Morrison and he was made captain for the next match so I guess he's the permanent one now. Obvious choice IMO.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was Rickie Lambert. Trollope trusts him and has known him a long time.

If not him, then I'd say Sean Morrison. Most likely of all our experienced players to play most of the games (excluding Lambert and Whitts).

Whitts is a great player, and a great person whenever I've met him - but not a captain.

Lambert, we need to lead from the front.
