Owner doesn't want to be here, is stripping everything he can, fans disappearing, no investment in the club, league 1

Jesus - everytime! What evidence do you have that Tan is stripping anything let along everything? We have to operate within the limits of FFP - that is why we are now cutting out cloth accordingly.

Many fans used to grizzle last season under Slade when infact we were like Barcelona then compared to now.

Derby County have the same FFP rules as us, but they are showing ambition spending £14 million on Vydra yesterday :bluebird:

They've obviously got more income than us from different sources and plus they pretty much fill their ground every ground every week, where we can't even get half.

There is a way round ffp , look at man city, they just rename stadium and put money in from within investors, if tan wanted to put money in the stadium would be called wing wang woo or somethings!

Manchester did it before rules were changed ! You cannot use a company if you as an invester in club also have interest in potential investment company! etiad owned by the sheik who owns man c so if wanted to Do it now they cannot, it's to stop clubs getting around ffp! Read this a while ago . But of course sure can be done if got right Lawers

Tan is very obviously trying to get some of his cash back until the parachute money stops and is content for
the club to tread water until it does.

Our real problems will start when the parachute money stops and Tan then decides what happens
to the club and if he will help it swim or allow it to sink.

I fear it will be the latter since he seems the vindictive type.

Their average attendance this season is 29,000 - ours is 14,500. If you assume £20 a ticket, that is £300,000 extra income a game (12 weeks ALF wages) or £6.9m a season.

That is why we are where we are - I suspect the club budgeted (not unreasonably) for about 15k season tickets and a home/away additional of 5k which would have allowed us to keep what we needed and add accordingly. Assuming a crowd of 20k in a city the size of ours isn't an unreasonable expectation - it is a terrible reflection on the people of Cardiff towards our football team and certainly isn't going to help make us an attractive proposition for any potential investor.

I don't think we are going the same way as Blackpool but I do see a lot of similarities with Blackburn, was listening to their fans on 606 yesterday and for the Venky's read Vincent Tan, two owners that have loads of cash but no interest anymore in their plaything.
