Good, about time really. I'd expect the other two to go the same way if there's no takers in this window.

That's the best news of the summer to be honest.

The only thing is that having paid up his contract won't have been cheap and that could mean that there is actually less money to pay for the striker we desperately need.

Hmmm
I was thinking this, has it been confirmed that we payed up his contract in full ?

The club are saying it's 'private' but that wouldn't have happened ;)

He will now be free to take up another contract elsewhere (likely South africa) and off-set what he's lost by going now :ayatollah:

how do we know if this is good or not if we have no knowledge of the sums involved?

KD was an utter waste of space. fans can forgive a lack of playing ability, but never a lack of effort, and keeping fit is a basic prerequisite of being a professional footballer. good riddance.

Ole should be strapped to a chair with a gun pointing at his head and asked "why" and he wouldn't reply because he is f*cking clueless.

to be fair, OGS doesnt shoulder the brunt of the blame here. KD looked a decent player with palace. it was KD alone who was responsible for his lack of professionalism.

however, alarm bells should have been ringing as to his motive for signing when he was willing to drop down a division for more money - indicating that he was here just for a pay day. hopefully we will learn from this, though due to the drastically reduced budget, there will probably be no need to!

I'm happy that we going to be self sufficient you don't need money to be successful. :ayatollah:

No you don't need excessive amounts of money to be successful but you do need players who give their all, score goals and a successful youth system none of which we have

Paying off Dikgacoi 's contract at £60k/mth will cost £720k. Well done OGS and Lim.

How do you know it's paid off ? it could have been ripped up and he will get a new club with a new contract and signing on fee

One of the worst players I have seen at City in 40 yrs,,,for attitude anyway. An average Championship player for Crystal Palace when OGS signed him, even Ole was unhappy (allegedly) when he returned for Summer (2014) pre season training unfit & overweight (along with one or two other players too).
Injury took its toll on him, but for a sheer "can't be arsed or motivated" attitude, I personally say good riddance!!! :old: :angry4:

Excellent post...KD is a professional embarrassment...how someone can back to pre season training way overweight 2 years in a row is beyond belief.

Good riddance to the fat lump

Bad managers + useless ceo's = our current predicament overseen by an owner who hasn't got a clue how to run a club.

Was by mutual consent so compromise was agreed probably regarding contract and owed wages.

Know that as a fact Allan? Why would Dikachoi accept a penny less for contract termination when his earning power as a 30 something year old fatso has completely evaporated (if only his waste-line would)

Well it's a chance for a lump sum and perhaps he has plans or is confident to find a club abroad rather than rot for another year.

Lots of links with South African clubs.
He'll know he can go back there and earn a certain amount, but nothing like what he got here, my guess is we've had to pay him at least half and maybe 2/3 of what he would have earnt for the next 10 months here.

So something between £500k and £750k.

Criminal.

Should build in fitness clauses to players contracts.
