" CARDIFF STEP UP SEARCH FOR NEW PLAYERS "

Cardiff City manager Paul Trollope will over the next coming eight days before the transfer deadline try and sign a striker, a goalie to replace Simon Moore and a full back to replace Fabio Da Silva.

Trollope has a limited budget so will also try and get a player on a season long loan.

Paul Trollope has already seen where City need strengthening, but he also knows he has to off load more players before he can strengthen in all the areas he needs,

Cardiff City also look to be stepping up their search for a new full-back before the transfer window shuts next Wednesday.

Many reports have claimed that they were interested in signing Manchester United's Tyler Blackett and Leicester City's Ritchie De Laet before the pair signed for Reading and Aston Villa respectively.

Blackett is primarily a centre-back but has played as a left-back in the past, but it is thought that the chance to work with the legendary United centre-back while De Laet made a big impression on loan at Middlesbrough last season as an attacking full-back.

Trollope will continue to search right up and till the deadline on August 31st.

Of course we are short of a full back but Declan John has been inspirational since getting back into the team.

Our main priority is getting a striker than can score more than 10 goals a season.

Keeping Aron Gunnarsson, can turn throw-ins into corners which could knick us a goal in the dying minutes of the game with a good finisher. This could get us a lot of precious points and must be experimented. :ayatollah:
