' BOTH CARDIFF CITY PLAYERS TOLD FIND ANOTHER CLUB NOW '

Cardiff City's Adam Le Fondre and Federico Macheda have both been told find yourselves another club now,you don't figure in Cardiff's plans this season.

Both players were sent out on loan last season, Adam Le Fondre to Wolves and Federico Macheda to Nottingham Forest, but both failed to make an impact at either club.

City were hoping that those clubs would take them on, with Le Fondre City were hoping to bring in up to a £1million and Macheda, just for Forest to take on his contract.

It is believed between them they are costing Cardiff City up to £200,000 a month, which its also believed new Cardiff City manager Paul Trollope has been told he would be able to use part of those wages to bring in more players.

Cardiff City are also now willing to take lower offers on Adam Le Fondre,to try and recoup some of the money they originally out laid.

Until they find a club, both players will play with the DVP.

I wouldn't let le fondre any where near the development team
The way he berated the young lad at Havant the other night
He's a total gobshite
I'm going to Exeter on Tuesday to watch our youngsters if he's playing and doesn't encourage the kids he will get another piece of my mind

Tell me about it, macheda should have been one of the lowest paid players in the club,he's had more clubs than tiger woods and none have wanted him after he's played a few times for them,we was giving that useless c**t a chance which he should have been grasping with both hands instead the club has thrown 25k a week at him, almost as bad as the Cornelius saga ffs

So frustrating that a premeriership seasons money was fitted away by our olie.
Burnley spent wisely, and kept the same side together and went straight back up.
We are in a straight jacket due to olies spending.

Totally agree and if we can stop paying their stupid wages for the rest of the season it will be as good as making a 1m in transfer fees

Hats off to you, nobody wants players like that at our club, the sooner he's gone the better.

Paul Trollope speaking yesterday about both players :

" They can look for pastures new. It’s not an easy situation for them.
They’ve shown a really good attitude and worked hard through pre-season. They’ve been treated with respect and for all parties, if a solution is found, then it would suit.”

Macheda and Le Fondre told to leave

Adam Le Fondre and Federico Macheda have officially been told they can leave Cardiff City.

This is, of course, no real surprise after the pair were both left behind while the squad travelled to Germany for the pre-season tour.

Still, it is interesting to hear the comments of Paul Trollopw, who insists both men have been treated with respect.

Pity they couldn't have a good attitude and work hard on the pitch where it mattered!!!

Macheda in particular is probably the laziest player I have ever seen in a City shirt!!!!!

Makes you wonder why our squad was labelled 'the best in the Championship' and red hot favourites to go straight back up in 2014 when the squad had those 2 as main strikers . OGS did buy some good players (Magna) but those 2 on £25kpw is a complete horror show.
