Bloody hell didn't see that coming
How ever looks like Marshall going no where
Heard quite a few think Ben Wilson better prospect than moore
How ever I rate Moore very highly
Think we must have someone lined up though ???

Don't think he will be replaced Ben Wilson is very highly regarded

Good move for Moore...Charlton have just sold their keeper so he should get plenty of game time

Hi Guys, Eddie's lad here Charlton fan as you know.

Very pleased about Simon Moore joining us, from what I have seen he looks a good stopper, had a good game in Cardiff against us last season I recall.

What are his strengths and weaknesses and how do you rate him yourselves.

He a decent youngish keeper, always does pretty well when he fills in when Marshall not available.

Good shot stopper but could command the box better

Suprised we are letting him go out on loan but I suppose he needs regular football...will do well for you

Never rated Moore one bit.
That being said a loan could be good for him

He's a fine all round GK and I think he'll do well for you. He had to replace Marshall for a few games and they are big boots to fill. He had a couple of initial mistakes which he more than made up for as his game time progressed. With more matchtime at this level, I honestly think he could eventually be one of the better GKs in this division.

I see that Kevin Nugent has joined Russ which I think is another good move. How have your fans reacted to Russ's appointment and what does he have to do?

He did a good job in very tough circumstances here and earned respect but took us as far as he could.

Will be a very decent keeper at League 1 level.

Solid shot stopper and quite good on crosses but tends to have at least one mistake in him every game which can prove expensive.

Hope he does well for you.

Simon Moore needs games so this is an excellent move for him and us if he comes back a better keeper.

Why do people think we need to replace him Marshall is first choice and Wilson is back up

A keeper that needs a bit of work I always have a bad feeling when his name is on the team sheet.
