Annis, I agree.

He's been immense in this tournament and even if Marshall stays next season we should have an outfield captain and Gunnar is a perfect fit.

I'm a little worried that his performances may have brought him to the attention of bigger clubs both here and abroad and, as he certainly wasn't first choice under Slade, he may be tempted by a move if someone comes in for him.

Trollope needs to be assuring him that he has a big part to play this season in my opinion.

Completely agree. I think his performance and attitude will certainly have alerted other clubs but I would love to see him as captain next season and also those long throws as an integral part of our set-piece game.
