" CARDIFF CITY STRIKER NOT WANTED "

Preston looking elsewhere after Cardiff City striker Eion Doyle spent most of the season on loan there.

Preston were offered the striker and Doyle was keen to sign a permanent deal

Preston have now signed Charlton’s giant striker Simon Makienok on a season long loan for 2016-17 season

He had an average season for them, with four goals in 31 appearances.

Russell Slade paid £750,000 for Doyle who failed to impress at Cardiff City

If Doyle didn't cut the mustard at Preston, then its very unlikely that he will make any impact for us. I would get rid of him, ALF and Machesa and use the money to invest in another better striker. I would hold on to Saadi this season to see if he is capable on making an impact.

He had 20 odd games for us and then got a chance at Preston and failed to impress, we need to shift out the dead wood!

agree to a extent nubbs but Doyle started to find his feet abit towards the end of the season and let's be fair the strikers had next to no service with the boring system slade used to play
