As much as most will discredit this, I firmly believe it to be true
The Day Slade came out and said "We Don't shop at Harrods anymore" under Tans guidance signalled the End of the club paying silly prices for players therefore effecting the clubs ability to compete at the Top of the league.
Some supporters, those only used to seeing Cardiff at top end buying players of certain value and ability have struggled to come to terms with it.
This was in my opinion a big reason as to why fans have not returned.
Success breeds intrest which builds more Enthusiasm.

Flipside of course .Business wise it was a decision that was needed to be made.
It's Cardiff Jim,but not as you know it,not as you know it,not as you know it,
It's Cardiff Jim,but not as you know it,not as you know it Jim.
It's worse than that ITS RED JIM, Red Jim,Red Jim,
It's worse than that ITS RED JIM, Red Jim Red.
