GOOD MORNING READY FOR ANOTHER DAY OF FOOTBALL NEWS :bluebird:

RANGERS

Rangers have completed the signing of Joey Barton on a two-year deal.

Barton, 33, will join the club officially on July 1 on a free transfer after rejecting a new one-year contract from Burnley, where he was named player of the year after helping them win promotion to the Premier League.

The midfielder, who has one England cap to his name, visited Rangers' training ground nine days ago and spoke with manager Mark Warburton.

MAN UTD LATEST

Louis van Gaal is gone, but Jose Mourinho has not been announced as Manchester United's next manager yet.

LIVERPOOL'S NEW NO 1

Whether he will be the No 1 keeper or not, Loris Karius will wear the No 1 shirt at Liverpool...

SWANSEA

Swansea have completed the sale of striker Eder to French club Lille for a fee believed to be £3.4m.

The 28-year-old, whose full name is Ederzito Antonio Macedo Lopes, spent only a year in south Wales after joining from Sporting Braga last summer.

Having signed a three-year deal, he made just four starts and 11 subsitute appearances, failing to score a goal, before he was loaned to Lille in the January transfer window.

He then scored six goals in Ligue 1, prompting the French club to offer him a four-year deal.

West Ham in talks to sign Gokhan Tore, according to Sky sources

25/05/16

Gokhan Tore could return to London after a spell as a Chelsea youth player

West Ham are in advanced talks to sign winger Gokhan Tore from Besiktas, according to Sky sources.

Negotiations are ongoing for the 24-year-old, with the Turkish club believed to value their player at £12m.

The Hammers are looking to bolster their squad ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium and a Europa League campaign and have already agreed a deal to bring Norway midfielder Havard Nordtveit to the club when the transfer window opens.

But manager Slaven Bilic wants further reinforcements to build on his promising first season at the club, although a £31m bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and a £25m bid for Bournemouth pair Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie have failed in recent weeks.

Tore, who spent two years at Chelsea as a youth player after being found by Frank Arnesen while playing for Bayer Leverkusen, signed a five-year deal at Besiktas in 2014 after a £3m move from Rubin Kazan.

He has won 26 caps for Turkey and has been named in the 31-man provisional squad for Euro 2016.

SIMPSON PLEADS WITH TEAM-MATES

Danny Simpson admits he has told several Leicester team-mates that staying with the Premier League champions is their best option.

The likes of Jamie Vardy, Danny Drinkwater and Riyad Mahrez have all been linked with moves away from Leicester this summer, but defender Simpson says they won't find what they have at the King Power elsewhere.

“Listen, you can go and play and win trophies at other teams but this group of players are so close that we’re like a family,” he said.

“I told a few of them that. I don’t think they will get what we have here anywhere else.”
