Norway, One of the most prosperous and well balanced countries in Europe after Rejecting joining the EU in 1994.

Take a look at what tactics the EU used to try to scare people into voting for EU membership - da ja vu ?

A few months ago David Cameron was saying that he would pull the UK out of the European Union.

Now if we leave, he seems to be predicting a failing economy, higher unemployment, house prices dropping to the equivant of a packet of peanuts, and impending World War 3.

Can we really believe this scaremongering if his opinion was so different a few months back. If all of the above is true would Cameron really have taken us out of the EU ?

They give us all this scaremongering yet don't back it up.

Food will cost more - Why?
House Prices will drop - Why?
Jobs lost - Why?

Not facts to back up anything said, most ppl I know are voting to leave. How do we know that the voting is done legit?

If voting out is going to obliterate the UK off the face of the planet, why did Cameron offer us the chance to get out in the first place. Could it be something to do with looking after himself first and putting the country second? Funny how Australia, Canada, USA, Norway and countless other countries are surviving perfectly well. Guess we don'e have the brains in this country to manage on our own like most of the world does.

From memory wasn't the Ireland vote about accepting new member states, not voting in/out. Think they had a couple of referendums offering bigger carrots until Ireland accepted.

Might be but same principle do anything to get what the EU wants! my concern is if we vote in there will be no end to what the EU will put on us as we would have given them green light to walk all over us! :o

Denmark voted no 1st time and then were blackmailed into voting yes in the 2nd vote. Ie loss of jobs and higher costs, how they wish now they stayed out like their Norwegian cousins

But Norways economy was in a completely different state to ours in the first place so you can't say we're guna be just fine because Norway are. They do things differently there.

no need to see the video, its clear why they are desperate for us to stay.

firstly the fact there will be an £8,000,000,000 or so black hole in their budget as we are net contributors to that effect - EU jobs will have to be cut and spending plans scaled back. secondly, and much more importantly, it opens to the door for other nations to leave, especially if the UK prospers outside the EU (which is not guaranteed).
