Notorious English football hooligan says he will attack Muslims during Euros 2016

The 50-year-old, known as the Pig of Marseilles, says he will join with Russian hooligans when England meet Russia in the ethnically diverse city next month

An English football hooligan known as the ‘Pig of Marseilles’ claims he will return to the diverse French city during Euro 2016 to attack Muslims.

James Shayler claims he will join with Russian hooligans during the match between England and Russia and target innocent locals.

The 50-year-old says he will be watching the game on June 11 from inside the Stade Veledrome with Russian fans.

Shayler was jailed for helping launch an attack against police during the World Cup in France in 1998.



As reported by the Mail On Sunday, Shayler - who lives in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, said: "The Russians hate them (Muslims), don't they? England will be with Russia against the Muslims.

"The Russians are getting me the tickets for Marseilles, for the Russian game, so more than likely I'll be watching at their end."

Marseilles has a Muslim population of about 220,000 and is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in France.

Despite being jailed for two months after launching his vicious attacks during the World Cup in 1998, he claims he is not banned from travelling to the tournament.

England’s game against Russia will take place at the Stade Veledrome on June 11.

Its almost as if, if you are a high enough ranking Hooligan, you release statements before a big tournament.

"Pig Of Marseilles" eh? With a set of norks like that, "Brest" would be more appropriate.

Somehow doubt if anyone in Marseilles, (Muslim, or otherwise), is quaking in their boots at the thought of a bloke from Northamptonshire coming to their city. The locals responded last time England were there. The CRS don't mess about, either.
