Season summary

Well, now that the dust has almost settled on the season, let's see what we achieved this year.

Carling Cup - knocked out by MK Dons

FA Cup- knocked out by Shrewsbury

Championship- failed to achieve minimum objective of play offs

Style of Football- dreadful, boring at times, dire on many occasions

Fans reaction- season has seen the lowest attendances at CCS. Fans pay good money for entertainment. Say no more. Only last few games gas seen decent attendances, however Club ticket initiative played significant part in bringing them through the turnstiles.

I have no doubt that post next week there will be some serious thinking by the CEO and owner on what to do with Mr Slade. Yes there has been issues that he had to overcome but with the squad at his disposal we really should have done much much better. In conclusion, I would think in summary a poor year, under achieved and dissolutionment by many. If the Club wants to progress, it is time to say thank you to Mr Slade and start looking at the likes of Mr Warnock, Mr McCarthy, or indeed Mr Holloway, who would certainly bring some fresh impetus into the Club.

It over to you Mr Dalman and Mr Tan.....
