' BEN TURNERS COMEBACK/ BUT '
Cardiff City defender Ben Turner travelled with the first team last Saturday to Fulham.
Turner will be making his comeback with the Cardiff DVP this Monday
Cardiff City's medical team are more than happy with his recovery.
But Turners contract expires this Summer and he has been told he can find another club.
The good news for Turner is that a number of clubs have approached his agent including Coventry City where he was doing exceptionally well until his injury.
Turner is a tough defender who gives his all and for me can be an inspiration for the team.
Would you offer Ben Turner a new contract at Cardiff City?

Yes, especially if Manga leaves. A good defender for The Championship.

Always thought highly of Ben Turner but he does carry a big question mark over his fitness, not just with us, which has resulted in him only appearing in 118 games during his 5 season stay with us.
In my opinion his partnership with Mark Hudson was the rock on which our Championship winning season was built, and that together with his goal against Liverpool, are the memories I will keep of his time with us.
I would imagine he is on a good wage for us and being out of contract gives the club an excellent opportunity to cut costs and, in my opinion, the club should say thanks and all the best for the future.

Good luck to him, hope he gets a run of games together and gets back playing to the levels he did for us

Ben has already made his comeback in the Development team - he played in the last home fixture.
He does`t think himself he has a chence of a new contract so can`t see it happening even if Manga is sold in the Summer to generate some cash.

Slade on Ben Turner
"He will play monday to get match minutes. He’s training and gradually getting top speed. It’s a week by week thing. Fingers crossed no set backs. I’ve warmed to him, he’s a leader and great type, he’s my kind of player."

He may be offered a year long, pay as you play contract, who knows? But lets not delude ourselves,,,any player out of contract this Summer is more than likely going to leave, especially when we still have some very high earners on the pay roll, players that don't even figure in anyone's plans!
