MY VIEW/ OPINION " TODAY WAS ALL ONE WAY TRAFFIC YET "

My View/Opinion

TODAY WAS ALL ONE WAY TRAFFIC,WITH CITY ATTACKING FOR 70% OF THE GAME, YET COULD ONLY DRAW .

City today faced the team bottom of the Championship and with the worst record of conceding goals in the Championship.

2points dropped and play-offs even further away.

FOR ME THIS IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH

CHARLTON 0 CARDIFF CITY 0

Crowd 16,755
Away Support Approx 845 City fans :bluebird:

Marshall; Fabio, Connolly, Manga, Malone; Ameobi, O'Keefe, Ralls, Whittingham; Pilkington, Lawrence

Subs: Moore, Peltier, Gunnarsson, Dikgacoi, Immers, Macheda, Zohore

City went in to this game looking for their 3rd away win on the trott and were facing a Charlton side on a terrible run which has seen them now plunge to the bottom of the Championship, surely nothing less than 3pts today for the Bluebirds.

City started brightly with attacking football, with Charlton having to defend and try and hit us on counter attacks

Our best chance was in the 32nd minute when Ralls hit the post.

For the rest of the first half we huffed and puffed.

Half-time Charlton 0 City 0

Fabio had been taken off at half-time and replaced by Peltier.

City came out and took the game to Charlton and attacked and attacked with Pilkington creating a few good chances .
Pilkington even hit the crossbar in the 55th min.

Joe Ralls had a good shot saved.

It was beginning to become a one sided game.

Jo Ralls had another good effort saved in the 67th min.

67 mins Macheda was brought on for O'Keefe.

Pilkington missed a sitter in thev75 min.

77 mins Gunnarsson came on for Whittingham

The last 10 mins Charlton started to give City a bit of a fright.

88th min Manga cleared it off the line.

Ameobi sent off in 94th minute.

Final Score Charlton 0 Cardiff City 0

My man of the match ANTHONY PILKINGTON :ayatollah:

We need a good striker this Pilkinghton Lawrence partership is not working for me probably almost as useless as Mason and Revell these crap partnerships up front have cost us to many points we were the better team but couldn't still win the options upfront need changing and Connolly My MOTM. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Simply not good enough against bottom side.

Top 6 no chance under RS.

New manager next season :ayatollah:

Safe trip home Annis and to all the diehards :ayatollah:

Golden opportunity to close the gap with Ipswich losing & Birmingham drawing.
Not good enough.
Manga sounded superb according to Cardiff City Player.

We played well and were much the better team. Last ten minutes were crazy and could have gone either way. Ameobi red very harsh.

Pilkington my MOTM. First time I've seen Lawrence for us and good to see how positive he is.

Very dissapointing to only draw though, especially with Ipswich losing.

But at least we're debt free and a rich club

About to get on the tube to continue the journey back :thumbright:

Next up for me, Boro :ayatollah:

You knew we wouldn't get the win today, that's how we roll against sides at the bottom and always have done. Why? I have no idea, just in our DNA and I say it every time. The radio were full of praise in the way city played albeit against a poor Charlton team. We will come up short this season and mainly for results like the last two weeks but this week has been a positive week, and I expect us to beat BHA next week

Slade prepares and sends out his team that batters them but we can't score because Tan has let Slade down stopping him from signing Tony Watt, but you still somehow manage to give a Slade out! Clowns like you are hilarious!

Agree with you on Pilkington MOTM, thought that O' Keefe also had a good game. I have said it before, we look better, when away from home because most teams attack us and leave space, when that space doesn't appear, as it didn't today because Charlton are not good enough to risk attacking football, then we struggle, as we have no real goascorers and no real class creative midfield. I will defend Slade a bit here though, because I think he sets up teams quite well, balanced, I just don't think at this moment in time we have the quality players needed to make a difference. In saying that you know my thoughts on Slade, even with better players, I still don't think he has what it takes to manage a promotion winning team  :bluescarf:

Looks like I made the right choice yesterday! THE WHO were f*cking amazing at the SSE Arena Wembley last night. Have to say it looks much different around Wembley compared with our last visit in 2012. The car park we used then is a massive glass building now!

We should be winning these games, especially against a side who has conceded the most amount of goals this season :ayatollah:
