Charlton Athletic mascots Robin and Knight give away tickets to game against Cardiff City on Saturday

Tuesday, 9 February 2016

By Mandy Little in Local People

Charlton Athletic’s mascots Robin and Knight have been dropping into primary schools to offer free tickets for pupils and families to this Saturday’s game against Cardiff City.

The club and Charlton Athletic Community Trust have teamed up with Greenwich council to provide free tickets to the Championship match.

The scheme was launched by the club mascots at St Mary’s school in Eltham last week.

Didn't the inbreds try a similar thing in the valleys a few years back? Have friend who is Orient fan who tells me that smaller clubs in London (Orient, Charlton etc) are worried of losing younger generation of fans to Spurs, West Ham etc. We should be doing this as well..... Hope Tan takes note!!!! :bluescarf:
