Take note of what? Once you've paid the club doesn't need to care, all you're doing is walking away from something early that you yourself have paid for. Whether you all plan to come late for a game or leave early, as long as you've paid they don't mind. If you go to a cinema and walk out are they going to care that you left early? No. They still have your money. If you don't go then they start clammering you with deals saying COME BACK. They have to ask you what will bring you back/change your ways

You do know the one who said the quote you've given as well, served 21 weeks of his 42 prison sentence for tax evasion?

What can you do other than not going? KCB/BU didn't get our Blue back, Tan realising it was a bad decision in the end and a virtually empty stadium is what got us back. What he hasn't realised is the re-brand has left an ever lasting effect on the minds of fans.
Tell me what you get by leaving something early? Would you leave the theatre/cinema or another sporting event in the hope that they might pay attention to you? No chance

Agree with previous posters. What's the point in walking out at the 77th minute, they've already paid. As long as they keep renewing and selling the stadium out then the prices will charged. The clubs will charge what they can get away with, they want to rid the Kop of benefit scrounding Scousers (the majority) and fill them with rich people from the Wirral and tourists from the far east on day trips.

Liverpool are a big enough club to easily replace those who walk out, they have fans all around the world because they're marketed well, they go to Australia and the Middle East etc so fans will fork out excessive amounts of money to travel from there. When they know there's a demand they're going to continuously charge high prides. The stadium is probably filled with tourists. The demand is there. We ourselves can't learn from it because we aren't as marked at all, we don't have as much history and the country we're based in isn't exactly a shining beacon of a place. Not a lot of our support is actually from Cardiff, it's from the Valleys. When you look at all the areas in our catchment area, Cardiff is the only one that really gets any investment.

BU had under a thousand people as real members, those who joined the protests joined to show their frustrations at the board and re-brand. Those who weren't in BU decided to boycott Colchester home and they saw the attendance.

We saw a similar attendance for the Shrewsbury game. That Colchester game would have been roughly the same if we were playing blue.

Visual impact Chief. And it gets the coverage. It would of been embarrassing for the Club and it would effect the players. Don't like Liverpool or there fans but have to say fair play to them. It got Liverpool coverage they did not want and may encourage other teams fans to do the same. At least they was pro active, you won't get anywhere just following like sheep.

That's true, I think the club were under the illusion that a change back to blue would bring back the faithful but to some they'll still find any excuse. Last year it was the re-brand, this year it's the manager/playing style

Paying to watch then walking out in protest defeats the object to start with. Anyone who does this is a total whopper. Don't go if you have a problem with it, otherwise you may as well wear a clown suit with a protest banner above your head

Read some views on here that Liverpool can just replace there fan base with posh fans from the Wirrall or glory hunting plastic fans from around the Country even the world. Does every club want to destroy there tradition ? There atmosphere like Cardiff City have done ? The Kop is world famous and many a time they have roared there team to success and many a glory fan wanted to go to taste that atmosphere.
But some of what is said sadly could be reality and football for the true fans is slowly being iradicated, Modern football I hate it, and to be fair it's now becoming a TV sport now, as watching live ain't what it used to be.

The bigger clubs can replace them because of the size of the clubs, yeah it'll probably be mentioned on MOTD but nothing will put tourist fans going there. The only plus side is has, is for the smaller teams or businesses not even to do with football. So if a fan feels disillusioned with Liverpool they could maybe go to support Tranmere or even teams lower down the ladder if they're local.

I didn't say I want that to happen I said that's what Liverpool want to happen. They can charge the rich and the tourists a lot more than what they can charge a local. The Kop is dead, there hasn't been an atmosphere there for years. Even when they were in champions league last season it was shit.

Its a start, I would say Liverpool could fill their ground with supporters from South Wales , but they don't go to their matches, sick of seeing Liverpool tops and dicks with lfc tattoos , I despise them.

Just read online that Liverpool are trying to charge 400k a season for a hospitality box for 13 people. That's approx £2300 per person per game.

Insane

Premier League clubs rejected capping away fans ticket price at 30 quid. Even if they charged 70 quid (an extra 40 quid) x 19 games at say 5000 away fans that's 3.8 million a season. Peanuts to what they've just been given in the TV deal.

Games fucked

Swansea had the right idea in capping away tickets at £22. I was astounded at the price of away tickets when we were in the Prem.
