I'm being told that the reason City have held out on the fee for Joe Mason is that it's not £300,000 they will have to pay, but between £500,000- £700,000

Most clubs these days go for 20% sell on clause, at the time we got Mason cheaply, so the clause could be higher towards 25%

Don't forget wolves just sold their top man for £10m. And are desperate for a new striker so I'm not surprised we held out for money, if they hadn't gotten that cash I reckon we would of asked for £1.5m accepted anything £1.3m if I'm honest

Any money fir Mason is a result, rarely a critic of players but he's weak, no pace, powder puff shot, had one good game all season against Wolves. Can't cut the mustard great business by city
