Where City are so far viewtopic.php?f=2&t=145418 :ayatollah:

Over the course of the season we've averaged 1.47 points a game, which would give us 68 by the end. Almost certainly not enough for playoffs (only 1 team with that tally has ended up in the top 6 since 2000), but an improvement (of sorts) on last season.

Since we got to 2nd in the table in September we've managed a less than impressive 1.18 points a game. Continue that form until May and we'll have 59 points at the end of the season. That's less than we managed last season and would likely mean a finish somewhere around 14th-15th. Certainly no improvement there.

Since the win against Middlesbrough we've won an average of a point a game. That form continuing would result in us having 54 points and, while it wouldn't result in a relegation battle, we could expect a finish somewhere around 18th.

3 goals in our last 7 games is a big part of the problem. Continue that until the end of the season and we can expect to have scored only 29 goals by next May. That would be the worst season in our history in terms of scoring goals, the worst at present was our Premier league season. Whenever we've scored less than 40 goals in a season we've gone down.
