A West Ham supporter is in hospital after being stabbed outside White Hart Lane ahead of the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 35-year-old man had been stabbed in the abdomen before the 4pm kick-off on Sunday.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and both West Ham and Tottenham are working with the police to identify those responsible.
