Kimbo ?

Sun Nov 22, 2015 11:41 am

What's happened to him .

We get no updates on him

Strange that as he was taken off the same time as Guerra against Bournemouth in the cup by young in the first half

Both have been released but we only get updates on Guerra on here hmmmmmm??? Why? :sladeout: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Didn't he leave the country because his visa wasn't renewed?

He's gone back to play in Japan. He's not even playing in the top Japanese league, so there's not going to be much news on how he's doing

The dossier on him was top notch.

2.5 million pounds he cost. BONKERS.

I'd say because we are crying out for a striker and we had one who is now banging in goals in la liga and we refused to give him any game time. Instead sladr preferring two CB's on the bench.

He was looking like a 20 million pounds player during the last third of our title winning Championship season. Kim was a confidence player and we got the best out of him playing in a free role centrally behind the striker. We won at Southampton with Kim in this role driving at their defenders and forcing them backwards, which didn't allow Southampton to settle. Why we put him out on the wing where he wasn't comfortable and ruined his confidence is beyond me.

Kim started showing his old form when he re-joined Malky at Wigan, scoring a peach of a goal in their 1-0 win at Norwich. Kim is still a player with bags of ability in my opinion but needs to have an arm put around him to settle him and make him feel wanted, plus he needs to be allowed to play his natural game with freedom.

Wow don't you remember the goal against Man U? Class player in a poor Premiership team.

Re: Kimbo ?

Kimbo was a thorn in the side to us when we played against Wigan away last season.

I thought he would get to another Championship club.

It's not that odd though is it because we are badly in need of a striker.

If we loaned out a defender and were leaking goals like mad I think people would do the same.

I was hoping it was obvious I was messing.

I was making an ironic stand against modern social values. I know you weren't being racist.

I liked Kim, I feel he was best used in the hole but was beojg plyed wide on the right a lot.

At times he showed glimpses of fantastic technical ability, but other times he was harly involved in games. Overall thought he did ok here.

Re: Kimbo ?

Blackburn tried to sign him but his application for a visa was turned down. He now plays for Matsumoto Yamaga in Japan... They're are in fact in the J. League Division 1 and have done since being promoted from J. League Division 2 in 2014

Matsumoto Yamaga F.C are currently 15th in the league having only won 4 out of their 15 league games so far this season. Kim Bo-Kyung has only played in ONE of those games which pretty much sums up exactly why we haven't heard from him :laughing6:
