But very pleased to hear from some of the players and I don't mean just Connolly, that were in the team that won promotion under Malky, that this is the best, the team/squad has felt since that promotion season and there is a real good feeling amongst them.
They want to play again and like us fans they are enjoying their football again


So fair play to Slade on that, bringing them together

It is fair to say that I was on the fence last year as far as Russell Slade was concerned, recognising that he had inherited good quality players but there were far too many of them! I have now made my mind up to say that I think we have a good "Manager"
I am not so sure as to whether he is a great tactician but the ability to manage a group of people and channel their efforts into the greater cause is the main attribute of any manager (football or otherwise). I think it is now showing that Russell Slade is starting to achieve those outcomes in managing the players into "Team Cardiff City" he has managed to develop a TEAM to work together and with Paul Trollop getting the coaching and tactics more refined I am now starting to enjoy Cardiff City and I think we are about to surprise a lot of people in football who have written us off. I Say well done Russell I am converted>

That's excellent news. I got to admit, I wanted Slade gone at the end of last season but he and Trollope have turned things around and we are looking much better on and off the pitch.
Really looking forward to the rest of this season and I now believe a play off position IS possible.
