She isnt protesting against drilling, she is protestic against arctic drilling.
Right now this thread is the equivalent of a bunch of people posting a pic of a celebrity eating a Big Mac and saying they are a hypocrite because they are protesting against animal trophy hunting. Refusing to see the difference because the person in question is rich and famous and of course - an easy target.
The two are wildly different and she should be commended on standing up for what is quite obviously a very concerning scenario, especially with the report coming with it conculding there will be a 75% chance of at least one oil spill over 1000 barrels in size.

Does it matter where they drill on this planet ? It's irrelevant. OK she is against drilling in the artic now back to my post above, I will change it to "Typical lefties wannabes. Don't want drilling in the artic but drives cars

I dont want to come across as rude here nukes, but if you have to ask that then you really shouldnt be commenting (The OP is similarly guilty).
Yes it matters, is the answer. As explained, it is impossible to clean up an oil spill in icy water, in fact you wouldnt be able to even get to it in time or effectively to even attempt to. Thousands of people live in that remote area that depend on the marine life to survive, if the marine live is affected then thousands of people die. Not just people of course, the arctic is home to one of the most beautiful, diverse and important eco systems on the planet that could have a global effect if decemated.
And on that note, the report suggests there is a 75% chance of one or more oil spills as a result. I think she has a fair point... Dont you? Whether she drives a car is irrelevant as that oetrol doesn't come from the decemation of the Arctic.

Next we will have people saying the Africans in famine should be left to starve to death befause they show signs of desperation when aid arrives that there wont be enough to go around. Some people are so disgusting in their viewsmit shocks me, although I guess that was what it was designed for.
Stalking a young woman and then jumping on every thing she says is a bit weird though. Especially when what she is saying has the intention of helping people.

Gather you was saying about my post. No it wasn't because they was worried not enough to go round they were people that wanted to horde or make profit from taking more than what they needed. And many more thought they should get better.
