The club say they know what they are doing.
So pre season has started, the players are back in training but apart from Semi Ajayi, who signed a permanent deal from Arsenal, it's the same set of players who remained at the club at the end of last season.
In fact Ajayi ended the season on loan here so he's technically a returning player as well.
Cardiff play their first pre season friendly in 10 days time at Forest Green Rovers. Before that Russell Slade is taking his squad to
Champneys Health Resort in Leicestershire for a week of training sessions aimed at getting the squad fitter.
But it seems that we are likely to lose a player from the squad before we get any more in.
The move back to blue, a superb stadium and reasonable season ticket sales are all well and good but now the team has to deliver on the pitch if the stadium is to attract more ticket sales.

Mason, If we start our pre-season games without any new signings,then I will be worried as Slade wont give some of our current squad a chance as it is.
Most managers including Slade have stated,having your full squad for pre-season training and games is very important for the season ahead.

Dont think there is much danger of that as I would think that most of the players on that list are in the leauge below so would imagine vast majority would want to step up.

We knew not many players would sign. Tan ain't interested now his red dream has been thrown on the scrap heap. The shite about money given is bollocks spouted by the club. And Slade is just taking the piss. He has no ambition just happy to take the money as he knows he just does not cut it as a manager even in the lower leagues.

When we've got more than enough already
