" It was All his idea "

Sat May 23, 2015 6:30 pm

Just reading Alex Ferguson's Autobiography, Ferguson put the idea forward and then persuaded the Glazers to make David Moyes Manchester United's next manager.

By the way good read and it seems very honest :thumbright: :thumbright:

Nice of him to take the blame!

Perhaps Tan will take the blame for appointing Slade.

David,
Ha ha Tan never accepts the blame, nor do his small band of followers.

So far its been an excellent read and admits if Mark Robins had not scored the FACUP goal 20 odd years ago,he believed he would of been sacked.

Ferguson an honest and great manager :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

As he did a rather large interview stating Slade was his appointment yes I believe he would acknowledge Slade is his man.

Would you prefer an owner who sacks the manager on the say so of his fans?

No I would not.

But I'd prefer an owner has even a tiny bit of footballing knowledge appointing the manager and not a footballing fuckwit like Tan.

Two owners we had who knew football almost took us to liquidation.

Unfortunately mate we have never had that. Even Sam, who started the ball rolling on this great adventure took the piss with his consultancy fees and with the Langstone debacle in the end.
