Cardiff City's Sky Bet Championship fixture list is set to be released on Wednesday, 17th June 2015.

Cardiff will play Forest Green Rovers and Shrewsbury away before going to Holland on July 19 for a week.

Thursday, June 25: Players report back after the summer break and start with individual fitness testing.

Monday, July 6: Squad go to Champneys Springs Resort in Leicestershire for a one week boot camp.

Friday, July 10: City players return from Champneys.

Wednesday, July 15: Forest Green Rovers v Cardiff City. First pre-season fixture with 22 players used over the 90 minutes.

Saturday, July 18: Shrewsbury Town v Cardiff City away. Second pre-season fixture.

Sunday, July 19: Cardiff players go to Holland for the start of their pre-season tour and will be based in the Amsterdam area.

Tuesday, July 21: First match on tour v club from top Dutch division. Opposition to be confirmed next week.

Friday, July 24: Second match on tour v club from top Dutch division. Opposition to be confirmed next week.

Tuesday, July 28: Pre-season fixture, to be confirmed. Possible Premier League, French or Spanish opposition at home.

Saturday, August 1: Pre-season fixture, to be confirmed. Possible Premier League, French or Spanish opposition at home.

Football League fixtures start on the weekend of Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9.

Looks busy. All this and work behind the scenes to secure signings in and out. Management isn't 9-5 certainly!

The Dutch trip could be very helpful to sharpen up team passing.

Seen that the Jacks are playing Merthyr in a pre season friendly again and we are not. We are going to loose young fans to them if this carries on.

I've known a Jack since school and he regulary visits Dan Haagg's Top Boys.It would be safe to say Cardiff fans will not get a good reception, stay in numbers and not too stoned.

Our club seems to love playing Forest Green every summer.

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm the following framework for pre-season fixtures. Please note that highlighted segments of this are subject to change or are awaiting further detail and/or confirmation.

At this early stage of planning, we can confirm that the Bluebirds will kick-off their friendly schedule on Wednesday, 15th July (7.30pm) at Conference Premier club, Forest Green Rovers.

Three days later on Saturday, 18th July (2.00pm), City will face Shrewsbury Town at the New Meadow, the Shrews having recently been promoted to League One.

Then, on Monday, 20th July, the Bluebirds will travel to Holland for a week-long training camp. They are set to play two fixtures against Dutch opposition during this time away, though clubs, dates and kick-off times are yet to be confirmed. Updates on the tour to Holland will follow here, as they become available.

As confirmed on cardiffcityfc.co.uk earlier this week, the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship season will kick-off on the weekend of 7/8/9th August 2015. Additional friendly fixture dates to be played the week prior to this (27th July – 1st August) are currently being evaluated by Club Management. More information to follow.
