Anyone knows free market capitalism is the route to economic prosperity.

Until it all goes tits up and then they come crawling to the state to bail them out. And when it works it only works for the rich. The "trickle down" is absolute bollux. Free market capitalism fails due to GREED and it couldn't give a shit about the poor.

Spot on. Have you seen the right wing papers this morning? What a diabolical piece of free speech journalism they've all gone for. Not surprised by The Sun or The Daily Mail but expected more from the others. They are clearly shitting it and resorting to gutter journalism. I am voting for a local candidate who does a good job for our constituency and didn't really have any feeling about who I'd prefer to lead the country because all parties have pros and cons for mine and my family's living circumstances. However, I really don't want the Tories in after the way they've campaigned this election.

As a leader, I actually don't think David Cameron has been that bad. He's still a bit too snobby for my liking but he took over in arguably the worst position the country has been for over 100 years... thanks to the bankers, not the Tories or Labour (or you could argue both equally). However, he's got an incompetent chancellor in George Osborne and I've been a big opposer to the austerity plan and the "we're all in this together" idea as they eat at banquets in their tuxedos sitting on their gold chairs as the rest of us have had to watch every penny... and I'm one of the lucky ones.

What was really amusing some time ago was the Daily Mail's attack on Ralph Milliband, Ed's dad. Ralph Milliband served his country in the Royal Navy.Being a Marxist philosopher is not going to ingratiate his family into the arms of "Der Sturmer".Seemingly the Rothermere family, the owners of this odious rag, have short memories. Here is a photo of Viscount Rothermere in the 1934 with someone who is pretty recognisable. Following the occupation of the Sudetenland in 1938 Lord Rothermere gushed the following sentiment to the Fuhrer:

“My dear Fuhrer everyone in England is profoundly moved by the bloodless solution to the Czechoslovakian problem. People not so much concerned with territorial readjustment as with dread of another war with its accompanying bloodbath. Frederick the Great was a great popular figure. I salute your excellency’s star which rises higher and higher.”

Here is a delightful memory of his trip in 1934:
