I like the concept, but the execution is terrible in my opinion.

They really needed to get a professional design team to do it rather than having another amateur in house effort.

Nothing wrong with that crest in my opinion.

I am sure a small number of fans will still moan about it as they had already made their minds up in advance that they weren't going to like it whatever it looked like. I think the majority of fans will be happy with it, and the rest will just have to get over it.

Well, I didn't know what to expect, and definetly didn't have my mind up. The badge is so much better from the one we have at the moment, so it is a huge step forward. No one can deny it.

But the design of the badge is not my favourite and the dragon pokes my eyes.

But then when arsenal changed there was outcry it was a dumbed down logo.

Going after commercial success over history.

Times change, now that arsenal badge is one of the most well known in the world.

Would you say this dragon was also bad, being the same serpent like creature?

Why couldn't we go back to the badge we had before the rebrand, much better than this one

I like it. It does raise a question though. If Tan wants out why have his dragon on the badge? To me it is a sign that he does not intend to go. Maybe I am reading too much into it!

I'm with you. There was no need to design another new badge. The old one looked like a proper football badge. And if he wanted an oriental dragon, he could have swapped the welsh dragon on the old one

A vast improvement. But the blue should be Royal Blue. That little dragon is a small price to pay for our return to blue and the Bluebird.

Very surprised with the support of this badge from this forum.

To me it's better, but still looks rushed, lacks creativity and just looks plain. Red trim is just not needed. Nether less, bluebird is huge and it's mainly blue.

See it as a small concession to Tan, but is there really much point in the worm? Wouldn't it look better without? I know he wanted something "oriental" on there, but what's the point really? How is the club oriental? Does that worm honestly make one person feel better?

The only point is purely Tans vanity.
You don't see Abramovich wanting the hammer & sickle or whatever on Chelsea's badge.
The thing is, it's a bit of a cock up as it just looks like a worm type thing!

Shocked that so many people like it, it's a step forward but why should we have to compromise, Oriental Dragon on a Cardiff City badge, f.ucking shoot me now.

I'm quite happy with the production as well.

I know there a few suggesting it should have been done by a professional design company but the concept and delivery is very good.

Clean lines, modern approach and not cluttered.

Many would have rathered a return to the previous badge but in the 21st century that badge was trying to say too much.

It would look phenomenal without the dragon but I would say that even if it was a Welsh dragon. Keep it simple.

I have no problem with the badge. I agree with all who say lets move on. The badge and colour should no longer issues. However our slide into mid table mediocrity is what we should all be worried about!!!!!!
