My View/Opinion

" CARDIFF CITY IMPROVING ? ? ? "

So Russell Slade, Scott Young,Morrison and even Marshall say we are improving? ? ?

This surely is a joke?

Slade Why drop Joe Ralls?

Why drop Kennedy?

Cardiff City 1 Charlton 2
Crowd 20,488(incl 950 Charlton fans) Actual attendance approx 14,000.

Moore, Peltier, Connolly, Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Whittingham, Gunnarsson ©, McAleny, Noone, Macheda, Jones.

Subs: Wilson, Fabio, Ralls, O’Keefe, Kennedy, Revell, Doyle.

City had in the last 2 weeks had back to back away wins on their travels for the first time in over 2 years, but now they had to find their home form as their last home win was over 2 months ago v Fulham, the day we returned to Blue. :bluescarf:
Charlton started this match 1 point ahead of us in the League Table, with both of us midd table and safe from relegation :thumbright:

Well for thousands of City Fans,We would like to know where we are improving? ? ?

In our last 17 League games we have won 3 just matches against some of the worst sides in the Championship. :o
The football has been dire, even when we have won and the crowds are leaving in their thousands.

There is No entertainment , at one point today some fans were falling asleep and I felt like joining them.

Yes some will say Charlton robbed us with a disputed penalty, but remember the other night at Rotherham, it all equals out over a season :ayatollah:

The football today from both poor sides was like there was nothing to play for, which contributed to a dead atmosphere in the ground.

First half, there was no real football and a player who does give his all Gunnarson limped of in the 29th minute,to be replaced by Joe Ralls.

0-0 half-time and the crowd were asleep or were on their way.

After about 8 minutes City started to have a spell and in the 54th minute Kenwyne Jones to Macheda made it 1 nil City :thumbright: :thumbright:

I thought yes lets now go and beat this poor Charlton team, but no,we let Charlton in to the game and the more the game went on ,the more Charlton were in our half.

74th minute, you could see it coming 1-1

80th minute Joe Ralls tried to fight back, but shot over the bar.

City then faded and Charlton started to see that we were there for the taking, they poured forward, but I did think we were capable of holding on,when in the 86th minute, a totally controversial penalty gave Charlton a 2-1 win

I did feel we were robbed, but lets be honest we were awful against an mediocre Charlton side and a draw was all we were really worth.

I keep saying it,Slade has to go and we need to show ambition in the management side ASAP.

Annis, I don't think we were awful at all. I'm not even sure how you can describe our performance like that? We weren't clinical enough, and a few years ago would have put 4 past this poor Charlton team, but compared to recent months I thought we were very very good.

Lots of exciting young talent on show. But to be fair, I don't quite understand how one good game from Ralls has made everyone forget just how poor he has been at times this season. I don't get why people seem to think he should suddenly be first choice on the team sheet.

Look forward to reading these, another reason why I didn't go today :bluescarf:

This club and team has lost its way and supporters are totally fed up with the same dribble given out by both Manager and players both on the pitch and to the media.

Brentford away nil points Bournemouth home nil points in front of 8000.

Any half decent side will beat us and thats a big big big problem :ayatollah:

The simple fact is that teams know that however poorly they may play, they are always likely to get something out of the game when they play us. Lost count of the number of times the opposition have been somewhere between average and hopeless, and yet still get a draw or a win against us. It's been happening week in week out, and there is obviously something wrong somewhere.

Thats what opinions are about :thumbright:

Well everyone who was walking past me on the way out, were not happy at all with the football they had just seen.

I thought Charlton were no better.

Ralls deserves a run in my opinion.

Yes Ive seen worse football than this, but these are suppose to be Championship players on £ Thousands a week and to me they played poor and were boring to watch.

So you thought it was a good game of football?

Charlton are one of the worst teams I've seen down here this season, and we lost!!!! So if we weren't awful God help us! Seriously, we are so one paced, and devoid of ideas it is painful. Yes we are now trying to play football but we lack tempo and movement. Today was an improvement on some of the crap we've seen since Slade arrived but on the great scheme of things it was still awful

My man of the match Manga :thumbright:

Up next a difficult away game at Brentford next Saturday. :thumbright:

Look forward to reading these, another reason why I didn't go today :bluescarf:

This club and team has lost its way and supporters are totally fed up with the same dribble given out by both Manager and players both on the pitch and to the media.

Brentford away nil points Bournemouth home nil points in front of 8000.

Any half decent side will beat us and thats a big big big problem :ayatollah:

I like to be honest and I would love to say I saw a good game of football, but I cant lie,it was awful.

I am very worried if this brand of football continues.

You are not alone, many of us are worried.

It's not changed since RS came and next 2 games against the best 2 playing football in this Division :bluescarf:

Maybe 2 5 nil defeats may get him sacked. I cannot see us having pace against either sides :bluescarf:

Interesting last comment.

We have Bournemouth at home next.....they seem to like scoring a few away from home.

Ian, We could be in for hammering again off them, weve had 2 already this season incl the Cup.

Lots of exciting young talent on show. But to be fair, I don't quite understand how one good game from Ralls has made everyone forget just how poor he has been at times this season. I don't get why people seem to think he should suddenly be first choice on the team sheet.

Respect your opinion but really can't understand how you think we were 'very, very good'.
Slow, lethargic & no pace. Most people I've spoken to say we were shit & we weren't far off.

Thats how I saw it,with no entertainment at all.

You must be used to watching high quality crap

Brentford away today had 58% possession against Ipswich and Bournemouth also had 58% last night against Fulham.

Your glass may be empty by the end of a week Tuesday :ayatollah:

I thought a draw against a poor Charlton side would of been fair.

Did you think we played well?

What did you think about Charlton today?

We go away from home score 3 win the game with attacking football, what does a clueless manager with no championship experience do at the next home game go. Change the team why????????

Yes we attacked eventually score and then its back to the wall sitting on a lead which in the Championship is suicide which proved to be the case.

We need an experienced Championship Manager NOW.

Rant over curry time I'm off out.
