Rotherham and Millwall was marred by scenes of ugly crowd violence.
Shocking images from the New York Stadium show supporters and police clashing during the afternoon fixture.
Police were forced to step in to halt the violence which broke out late in the second half.
On the pitch Martyn Woolford opened the scoring for the Lions early, before second half goals from Danny Ward and Kari Arnason sealed the points.
And it seems it was Arnason's 85th minute winner that sparked the ugly scenes in the crowd.
Missiles were said to have been thrown by sections of the visiting support with a number trying to cross meshing and reach the home fans before the final whistle.
The result sees Millwall fall six points adrift of safety while the Millers move further clear in 21st.

I noticed that too. A prick with a brick. There's also a bloke wearing SI that I swear has appeared on Last Of The Summer Wine as Compo's stuntman. Clowns.

Nice to see them doing the Conga in the last but one photo. The lad in the flat cap looks like Frank Spencer. Hope that no OAP's were injured when trying to penetrate the nylon security cloth.

Can your mates down the bottom of the Canton get banned too please?

The worst thing about this is that the millwall lads will probably do time for this yet in the same town there are dozens of men who have abused young girls walking around totally free and not being prosecuted. Football violence is wrong but is far less serious than sexual abuse.

A bit of posturing and gesturing is nothing compared to what some so called Cardiff fans did to a steward at Man City last season.

Pathetic posturing by men old enough to know better. Millwall's reputation is bad because of these melts. Trouble is that it tarnishes uk football. We want standing areas in stadiums but as long as morons behave badly, it prevents progress.
Anyone who wants to romanticise it is equally stupid imho.
