A 12 year old Cardiff fan was run over on Ninian park road today and killed can u spread the word tomorrow to try get everyone to clap for a minute on 12th minute to honour him I'll ask my brother as well and I've asked wolves to do it as well

That's awful. Everyday my Mum nags me to be careful on the roads because it's so easy to make a costly mistake. My condolences go out to his friends and family. I hope the minutes applause happens tomorrow.

The emergency services closed off Ninian Park Road in Grangetown following the crash at around 4pm on Friday

A schoolboy has died following a collision with a car in a residential street in Cardiff, police said on Friday night.

Eyewitnesses said the boy was injured at the junction of Ninian Park Road and Telford Street in Riverside at about 4pm.

Witnesses said they believed the boy had sustained head injuries in the collision with the white Audi S3.

He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Heath, but was later pronounced dead.

This is absolutely shocking and terrible news. I cant even begin to imagine what the parents are going through, all I can do is wish them my sencere condolences. Awful terrible news.

Do you know for certain that the driver drove off? I havent read that anywhere. Best not to make any assumptions before the facts emerge.
