with this rumour going around I'd take him as our next manager he has managed in the Russian,Romanian and polish leagues which are quite decent levels and done quite well and got champions league experience and played in England for a while. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Please no. We don't need another foreign face coming in who doesn't have a clue how to manage a team in the English leagues.

You mean foreigners like Ronald Koeman, Louis van Gaal and Manuel Pellegrini. Don't have a clue, do they

Oh, you mean the managers with great experience in the best leagues in the world?

Are you telling me that the Russian, Polish and Romanian leagues are amongst the elite? :laughing5:

Dan Petrescu's last job as a manager was at Al-Arabi, who aren't even the best team in the QATAR leagues, he was sacked in 6 months. That's ALL you need to know about him.

3 wins 5 draws 3 defeats in 11 games it could be much worse it looks like he wasn't been given much of a chance.

Sorry, I'm not convinced. I'd rather Ole back and that's saying something.

How about if he was brought in as assistant manager. Now that would be good, we are short on experienced coaches and heads in the coaching staff and petrescu would be great for that, and if slade keeps failing then he could step up to manager

Why would a guy with no experience of the league, players in the divisions and who slade doesn't know be a good choice as an assistant? And why would slade want someone who could have his job? He wants to be able to confide and trust a number 2 not watch him sharpen his knife to stab him in the back, a number 2 is a vital role you don't just pick a name from a panini sticker album

Not what i said, Slade didnt pick young. The better option is kevin nugent. Or someone Slade knows and trusts. He probably has never met petrescu, and chances are he would be after bigger money than what slade is on himself
