What's happened to our academy? We've had 2 academy heads and several staff poached due to how good our youth set up was from about 1998-05, since then it's gone backwards.

I can only go on what the lads have said on here, that lads are leaving to go elsewhere as the training is better.
That never used to happen. The training was always spot on. Players might have had their heads turned by bigger clubs, but never because the training was better. I witnessed top class coaching until They went under Youth scholarship, then that youth manager was sacked, and has somehow ended up as assistant manager to a top premiership club.
