3 years, where has that gone. I remember coming down and seeing it on the news and to be honest,it knocked me for six. It's sometimes forgotten, Gary started the improvement in the Welsh team. RIP Gary and thoughts to his family. Also, on the same date,Phil Hughes sadly lost his battle for his life after being hit by a cricket ball. It makes you realise hoe delicate life can be! My thoughts are with his family and friends but also with the poor man who bowled the ball.

Will always remember this day like it was a loss to the family. Was working at the time, and I received a text message from my best mate. "Li, Gary Speed is dead." To which I remember telling him to f*ck up and stop messing around. I checked the news and there it was... My heart sunk, he revolutionised the game here when he was manager. Gave us back the hope we has lost.

You'll never be forgot Gary, Always a legend. The dream was started by you, your boys will finish the job in your name.

I remember the exact moment my mother ran into our living room to tell us.

I was just going to say that. I remember it as if it was 5 minutes ago. My mother running into our living room and telling us. Listening to the 5 Live commentary when it was announced brings it all back.

And then the Jacks had a game didn't they. Everyone was so just silent and confused.

R.I.P. Gary

We did have a game and the news broke just over an hour before before kickoff.

My old man was driving to the game and he's a relentless TalkSport listener. We'd had the radio on the whole journey and just as we were parking up behind Morrissons they made the announcement. We were both stunned into silence. I really felt like crying.

We walked to the ground and word spread throughout the crowd. I've never been to a football game where the entire crowd was uncomfortable and no one wants to be there. I really hope I never go to another game like that again.

We still remember Gary!
