Cardiff City winger Craig Noone signs contract extension to keep him at the club until June 2018

He's one of the most popular players at Cardiff City and now Craig Noone has been rewarded with a contract to keep him at the club for three more years.

Cardiff City winger Craig Noone has signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at the Bluebirds until June 2018.

The 27-year-old, who worked his way up from Non-League Skelmersdale, played in the Premier League for the Bluebirds last season after an epic journey that saw him turn out for Burscough, Southport, Plymouth, Exeter and Brighton before being signed by Malky Mackay in the Championship winning season of 2012/13.

Liverpool born Noone, had a contract until June 2016 but has impressed manager Russell Slade sufficiently to be offered a deal to keep him in South Wales for at least another three seasons.

That normally signals a bigger transfer fee!,

Good business either way. Maybe there is a release fee to protect club longer term.

Great news for the club. Thought that he had a very good game against Reading & the game before that against Leeds.

Cardiff City is pleased to announce that Craig Noone has signed a contract extension, keeping him at the Football Club until the summer of 2018.

A fan favourite, Craig made his Cardiff City debut in September 2012 having joined from Brighton & Hove Albion. He has made 65 City appearances to date, scoring 10 goals.

FairPlay, Noone has quite a good relationship with the supporters here and seems a character.

One of our better players here.
