Main problem second half was we kept losing possesion to them, also we never got ball in their pen area ! At one point has throw in at edge area we had 1 player in box?? I dont think Maynard is the answer to much like Alf so no deviation from game plan, gurerra far better option? It was Just a poor second half display. :old:

Allan, I studied it about 4 times, Marshall was to blame for the goal.

Second half totally Millwalls half.

why did he just watch ball instead of intending to do tango with player? second half olie got his tactics right by restricting us to midway in their half stopping anything going further up field! mind you if alf scores when should have it would have been totally different, but overall we still continue to play better football than previously, and i am sure slade will see shortcomings like replacing alf with maynard who tbh is same type player so doesnt offer anything to change game which we were crying out for! really needed gurerra on to show a bit of class upfront, :old:

Allan, I'm a big fan of Marshalls but he was totally at fault for their goal.
The second half was theirs and Holloway did Slade on tactics.

I am upset as I wanted 3 wins in a rowv

On a serious note, I said when we won two games under Slade, I would not judge him and I won't yet if we list two in a row either :thumbright:

Me neither Annis, I will give him 10 games before I make any real judgement on how we are progressing  from what we have seen so far though, the signs are positive, we are at least organised now. Today, I truly believe had we gone ahead, we would not have lost that game and in fact probably gone onto win it. I never blame a loss on the ref, but today the ref was swayed by the home support with his decisions, which tilted the game in Millwalls faviour.

I agree with a lot of this but I still think we deserved at least a point. We had the majority of possession and at times looked dangerous down the flanks but simply didn't take chances. When Gunarsson went off injured we had no workhorse in the middle and Millwall then countered and exploited us.

We fought until the end and really gave it a go and should have scored after Ravel's wonder run. But for me we struggled after Gunnarsson's departure as we had no defensive minded CM.

On to Leeds \0/ <0> \0/

We are 100% better than we were under Ole and I also believe if we had scored first we could of beaten Millwall. Yes after another 7 games under Slade,we can judge him :thumbright:

Loosing Gunnarson did not help, but on this match I honestly believe Millwall deserved their win.

The first half we could have been 2 or 3 ahead, we deserved a draw IMO.
I will.
