I like Turner as a defender but don't like him when he is in possession as he panics all the time and just hoofs it

Since international break Morrison has been brilliant in both games.

You look at the 2 goals we conceded, I think the blame has to lie with Fabio with the goal, the one v Forest for me has to be Daelhi or Noone has Antonio should have never been allowed so much room to run into for the cross.

Turner for me but he has a lot to do for his place.
I will.
And before anyone els gets in there no im not an ideot abroad

Turner will throw his body in front of anything, but his all round game is not great. Possession is often lost from him, whereas Morrison is pretty sharp on the ball. Both read the game well, although I think Morrison is a better partner for Manga.

Crazy that we have better defensive options now than we did whilst in the Premier League.

You could argue that the Forest goals were down to Slade for moving a complete non defender to left back. I'm pretty sure he won't do that again. Can't have been Fabio though as he didn't play!

Turner always gives 100% and a great Championship defender but is a poor distributor of the ball, whereas Morrison has that bit extra football intelligence and has started to show a big improvement in his play.Morrison and Manga I think will be Russell Slade's preferred choice

I'm with you all the way. Just because a bloke will dive in to block shots and make tackles people think he's a top defender. He's got zero game awareness and zero football ability. Last year he was forever losing his man and the blocks and diving in tackles were almost always due to his error leading up to it or being from him being out of position. That and we have to defend twice as often due to him forever giving the ball to the opposition.

Both good players and both good enough to start. However, we are winning games at the moment and regardless of who we think is better, the team shouldn't be changed.

I've seen Morrison make blocks and cut out dangerous crosses too.

I like Big Ben but atm the partnership between Morrison and Bruno Mars is gelling nicely.

IMHO the answer depends on whether Manga is playing.

Turner is undoubtedly the best defender of the two - Morrison is far too prone to backing off the oncoming forward - but Morrison is a far better distributor of the ball than is Turner. If Manga is in the team then in Manga we have the ball distributor in the back four and therefore Turner with his defensive qualities would be my choice as Manga has one weakness - he cannot compete with a big centre forward in the air but Turner can.

On the other hand if Manga isn't playing I would choose Morrison for his distribution and play him alongside Turner whose defensive strength would complement Morrison's distribution.

noone should never have been at full back. that goal was slades fault for putting him there. when ogs did something like that people would be having kittens

Morrison has been superb last 2 games.... He's got a much better football brain than turner. He reads the game well.. Can't believe people are going for turner... He's only good when going back towards the goal and making a tackle. Hes a liability in the box and gets caught out and his distribution is the worst in our team. Diagonal hoof to the far side out for a throw.... We have a settled back four now and should continue with it until a forced change.

At this time Turner for me but I do believe morrison will turn out to be a top player, a slow starter perhaps like HUDSON was in his cardiff career :bluescarf:
