' 27,000 and rising for Bosnia game '

Thu Oct 09, 2014 9:01 pm

Well finally my last update for the Wales v Bosnia game, sales have flew past the 27,000 mark and will continue with online sales until they close mid-morning Tomorrow. There is a planning meeting scheduled for then to decide whether there is need to narrow the quite large segregation blocks, it will depend on last minute on line sales and the opinions of those involved regards their estimates of how big the walk up crowd will be.

I think you have to take into account the many complimentary tickets that are issued to charities, players etc that don’t count in sales plus the fact that there will be segregation and Bosnia have not sold their full allocation, so I think the capacity would be between 31 and 32,000 for Tomorrow, I am now sure we will hit the 30,000 mark.

Please get there as early as you can if collecting tickets or face huge queues and possibly missing the start of the game. No point in any more updates now because it all depends on the walk up crowd, if it is a sell-out I am sure the news will get through.

Bosnia have sold 2100.

Rest of Middle floor of Ninian will be on sale tomorrow too. 1500 more tickets .

Great news that Wales are selling so many tickets.

Lets hope we can get a win so that Monday doesn't become a downer.

Hi Corky, I bought a ticket online yesterday, and I know that I will need to collect it from the red booth between entrances 3 and 4. The advice is to obviously get there early to collect your ticket, but I was just wondering how early you think I need to get to the ground. Thanks in advance!

Cardiffbus tweeted earlier that there will be buses from the station from 17:45

Ticket booths will be open from 4 pm but I would advise you to be at the stadium by 6 pm to collect tickets, even if you go for a pint after.

Good :laughing6: :laughing6:
Especially on those who bought the cheap tickets, at the front.
Should have paid more for the Ninian Upper Stand.
Or is it the same price everywhere?

Perhaps unfair on those who bought early, but it attracts a bigger crowd and helps families with youngsters to be able to afford to go.

I only put the updates on the information was from Lucy, the FAW ticket officer, who has been great keeping me updated with things,I have been nagging her all week :D

ALL seats in the muddle tire of the Canton Stand have now gone on sale.

The upper tier only has about 80 seats left.

Altogether there are only about 1,100 seats left BEFORE they decide on whether to lessen the segregation.

This is over 30k easily.

Well done again. Tremendous amount of work on behalf of FAW, probably more than most of their paid staff.
I believe your updates of ticket sales have helped increase the sales, as the more interest there is in the match, the more interest is created by those who probably would not have attended.

"ALL seats in the muddle tire of the Canton Stand have now gone on sale".

I think you have middled that up (or is it muddled it up)?

Sorry mate, couldn't resist as buzzing for tonight. Haven't felt this excited about a game (Wales or City ) for a couple of years.

 Big thumbs small keyboard.

Looking good for tonight. Besides segregation the place will be rammed and probably sold out before kick off.

Just need the result now.

Cheers for the info.
You've got me looking at the e-ticketing page now :laughing6:

Great to see so much sold out. Like the way there was one single seat left in the Grange End section. They should have a competition in the ticket office to see who could sell it.

508 left.

Will go offline soon so they can assess the leftovers and look into reducing segregation for the walk up crowd.

They seem to be trying to keep the Grange end of the upper tier empty for the walk up.

They've also kep hall the end block OFF sale so you don't gob over the side onto the Bosnian fans. :)
