The intensity we have shown in the last 15 minutes is how we should be starting games. We don't work hard enough from the off and grab the game by its bollocks. What a save by Marshall.

Will we be the first team to lose to Blackpool this season?

Yes is the bloody answer.

Absolute garbage - feel for the lads and lasses who travelled the distance up there. Absolute schoolboy defending and we don't look like scoring in a month of Sundays. Can't create, Forest next, it truly is worrying.

The players are not up for the fight at all. Not all of course but we certainly are not a team of grafters who want to win :x

Take our most creative player off and then resort to humping the ball forward what's going on. How bad are we going to get.

Blackpool deserved to win the game first half we didn't create anything at all better second half.
With the players we have against Blackpool we must learn to believe in are selves more.
A real worry though to little to late in the game frustrating to watch .
Is slade gonna be the right man we will see.

Dont normally have a go after a defeat but tonight they were a bunch of useless tw*ts, will be lucky to stay up this season. No pace no idea no bottle.
New manager has inherited a poor over paid bunch of players hope he can turn it around or we are looking at relegation.

There is just no end product, we good at passing but the reality is we haven't got a decent goal scorer, It is mid table finish for us,

Never thought I'd want Turner to hurry back.
Midfield were non existent. No pace within the side. No pass and move. No real attempts on goal.
Parish had very little to do. No clue at all. Shocking yet again.

Was trying to tell a mate at work today not to place a bet on us winning. I said we're currently playing shit. They haven't won all season. They'll also be without their no1 keeper. We are always shit on TV.
Gonna take till Monday now for me to stop being pissed off. Cheers City.

Result: Blackpool earn first win against Cardiff City

Blackpool have claimed their first victory in the Championship this season by beating Cardiff City 1-0 at Bloomfield Road.

The visitors had the first chance on goal of the evening, but Sean Morrison could only head a free kick from Peter Whittingham inches wide of the post.

Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall was then forced into action at the other end of the pitch when he pushed away Ishmael Miller's effort.

It was Miller again who threatened moments later, as he rose to meet a cross from David Perkins, but put his header over the bar.
Blackpool saw another chance go to waste a few minutes later when Perkins directed a strike wide from the edge of the box.

Whittingham came close for the visitors just before the break, but he could only fire his free kick over the bar.

As the game entered the 53rd minute a small number of Blackpool fans left the stadium as part of a protest against chairman Karl Oyston.

Soon after Ravel Morrison and Fabio linked up well for Cardiff, before the Brazilian saw his effort deflect wide of the post.

In the 64th minute Blackpool took the lead through Francois Zoke, who drove into the box before firing a low strike into the bottom corner past Marshall.

Delfouneso almost scored a second for hosts, but saw his strike saved by Marshall, before Adam Le Fondre fired over the bar from close range for the Bluebirds.

Cardiff dominated the possession in their search of an equaliser, but they could not find a way through the Blackpool defence as Jose Riga's team ended their 10-match winless run in the league.

Blackpool finally ended their six-month winless run as Francois Zoko's second-half strike secured a 1-0 victory over Cardiff in English football's Championship on Friday.

Zoko netted just after the hour mark to seal three points for the Seasiders for the first time since April.

His goal also moved Blackpool off the bottom of the second tier table and gave boss Jose Riga his first victory.

Cardiff now head into the international break in managerial limbo, with prospective boss Russell Slade present at Bloomfield Road but unable to take charge until a compensation agreement is reached with his former club Leyton Orient.

It was a first league defeat for Cardiff's joint caretakers Daniel Gabbidon and Scott Young, who had hoped to sign off with an unbeaten record.

However, in what is likely to be their last match at the helm, they became the first side to be defeated by Blackpool this season on a night when the home fans held demonstrations against the club's owners the Oyston family.

Several banners were unfurled prior to kick-off and the relentless chanting early on focused on the fans' fury at the handling of the club since they dropped out of the Premier League in 2011.

But the fans ended the night in celebratory mood after Zoko's 64th minute winner.
