... how would you compose that team?
Since Slade seems to be preferring the classic 4-4-2 formation, it doesn't seem unlikely that he would try to do the same at Cardiff. Another reason could be that we have an abundance of strikers and they're bound to be unhappy fighting for one opening (or playing out of position). But I'm finding it very hard to work out how I would compose a team in this formation given the type of players we have. Hardly think I'm the only one.
So yeah, what would your starting eleven be in a 4-4-2 formation?

Hopefully he will choose a formation to fit the squad and not the other way around. It was pretty clear under ole that we don't have a strong enough central midfield to play 4-4-2. Can't choose formation just to please strikers.

Spot on. A return to 442 would be a big mistake.

Apparently he was consulting Young and Gabbs on Sat, so maybe the formation on Saturday was the formation he wants us to play?

All depends on what Vincent Tan wants to play, will be interesting to see how Tan does for the rest of the season with his 'suggestions'
