Id take dave from the royal family off tv over this clown as manager

That's my nightmare.
Dave Jones returns, gets a few results, we start climbing the league, we scrape into the play-offs and goes on to win it.
After all the things I said of him that is scaring me.
Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:33 pm
No thanks. He's history now, & the last person we want back in charge.
Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:44 pm
I'd still take him back enjoyed some of my best years watching city with him as manager
Had his flaws but don't they all?
Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:47 pm
I'd love that.

DJ talks all the time with VT
Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:51 pm
No. He took us as far as he could and had nothing but disdain for the supporters. What's the point in going backwards?

Ever thought that's because our fan base are mainly a bunch of moaning idiots who spend too long on football manager
Fact is we have never had life so good and everyone's suddenly got an opinion
We are not world beaters and never have been soon as everyone gets the sense of realism back just maybe the fan base can back to the good old days of everyone united together like it was in division 3 when we were shit and knew it but supported the team manager and club come what may
Perhaps dave jones was right when he said 'perhaps people in this part of the world have never had it so good'

I would take Dave Jones from The Monkees and he passed away last year
Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:56 pm
I'd rather Terry Burton back than DJ. Terry was the one that made things click.

Some of the best managers in the world don't take any coaching sessions
Fergie probably the best example his coaches and assistant managers took all sessions he'd just watch

And of course, he used to play down the big occasions as 'just another game' - talk about motivation!
Anybody remember how we also lacked spirit and fight on the pitch in the last couple of seasons under DJ? If ever we went a goal or two down, that would be it.
No, he didn't have the money that Malky and Ole had, but I still wouldn't want him back with his cold, disdainful approach; stood emotionless on the touchline.

Ole said the derby game was biggest of season last year and we got stuffed so don't quite get your point
The derby games and bug games are down to the players if they can't get motivated for those then for me don't deserve to wear the shirt
Plus just cos he says that doesn't mean he says it behind closed doors
Agree when we went 1/2-0 down we never came back but we didn't go 2-0 down very ofteb
